The challenge of this project was to create a chalet open on the mountain, closed on the road, sunny enough without being a furnace in the summer ... Betting successful!
Thanks to its sloping facade protected by a large roof overhang, the Raphael chalet allows its occupants to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Criou mountain, without having to endure high temperatures due to sunshine.
Located near a national road, with its closed North façade, the chalet is protected from the nuisance of traffic and provides a soothing and friendly atmosphere.
While taking into account the views, sunshine, disadvantages and benefits of the land, Carole Declercq has created a family cottage where ecology and practicality go hand in hand (Heating by heat pump aerothermie).
